Personal long term projects

Beside commissioned series I am working on long-term personal projects. Specializing in portrait and documentary photography I increasingly turn towards a conceptual approach of contemporary issues. The project “Unsettled” has been awarded, published and exhibited internationally.

I have more than 10 years of experience in editorial assignments, documentary work and location portraiture. A selection of my clients: The New York Times magazine, Financial Times, Bio Planet, Starbucks, Nespresso, Audi, Porsche, WWF, Adecco, Deloitte, DHL, Regie der Gebouwen, Orde van Architecten, Foodservice Network Europe, Johnson & Johnson, Belgacom, G4S, ISS, Grünenthal, Efic, Secretary Plus, Style in Progress, De Standaard, Handicap International, Caritas, De Mens Nu and others.

Technical information

For personal projects as ‘Unsettled’ I am working with Mamiya 7 on medium film format (Fuji Provia chromes), using natural light sometimes combined with Lumedyne portable flash light. They are presented as framed digital C-prints, 80 x 100 cm. and 40 x 50 cm. (editions of 10 each). Commissions are generally shot with Canon 5Ds and or Canon 5D IV in combination with Profoto studio flashes.
