In the night of April 26, 1986 Unit-4 of the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant exploded,

causing a huge disaster. Since that moment an exclusion zone of 30 km around the

nuclear power plant has been installed.

This series documents fragments of the Chernobyl Exclusion Zone—a place where time is frozen in concrete and rust, while the green world relentlessly reclaims the earth. It is a quiet portrait of civilization’s fragility and the unstoppable resilience of the natural world.
